New Project: Textbooks4Change
Posted by Marshall Brekka on May 13, 2009 8:06 PM
Its been a while since we here at Infallibull have had time to work on any new projects. But now that the school year has started to wind down, our little wheels are once again turning. Our new project, Textbooks for Change, is a fundraising tool for use by college students. When users visit the Textbooks for Change site, there is an affiliate link that brings them to Amazon. When they purchase items through Amazon after clicking our link, we receive a percentage of Amazon's profits, which are immediately donated to the Courage Campaign to help them with their fight for marriage equality.

While Textbooks4Change is not an Infallibull organization, we will be producing the video campaign to help spread the word about this powerful tool. You will hopefully be seeing some videos from us over the summer, so while you wait, go purchase your textbooks!

If you are a returning viewer to Infallibull, you have probably realized that we changed some things. For starters, we gave the site a complete overhaul, getting rid of old useless clutter, and bringing more life to the new and important things. The site isn't done yet, as you may have noticed, we intend to add a music section in the near future, as well as some added functionality to the movie pages.

Moving on, we had entered our submission Wake Up to Current's Ecospot contest about 2 months ago, the finalists were unveiled on the 24 of October, and alas, we were not one of them. Even so, check it out, it's probably one of our better ads we have ever made. And if you feel so inclined, check out the Making of Wake Up video on our brand new Behind the Scenes section.

Well, we finally released our first skit of the summer. If you didn't notice, Thomas Jefferson is now viewable on the site!

We also finished up filming two other skits in the last two days, one of which involves Bush and Cheney. there isn't much to say about them at this point, except that I think we were filming for around 10 hours. Check out the gallery of the filming while your at it. Bush and Cheney

So conner and I finished up with our filming of the sailing event last Sunday, and I have to say, it was probably the most intense filming we have ever done, camera man wise. We have some really great footage that we will be cutting down into a dvd version for all the kids from the event, and editing a current pod out of it in the next month or so.

In other news, the Thomas Jefferson skit is nearly completed and will be published by the 15th, as well as a few more skits in development.

Also, our about page has been completely revamped, and now includes links to all of the galleries, and may soon include other surprises.

Keep checking back for more updates.

First shoot of the summer!
Posted by Marshall Brekka on June 30, 2007 10:47 PM

So last thursday was our first shoot of the summer, and hopefully many more spectacular ones will follow. I have to say that this sketch really was the first one that we have ever made a real set for. I mean, sure, before we have put up some tables and cloths and stuff, but those don't even compare. This time, we actually made it look GOOD. We even made old paper, jeez. The day after, we filmed a few other things with the set before we struck it. We then set up our green screen to film another sketch, but had to postpone that. We were too wiped out to film anything else, Due to the fact that it took us around three times as long as we expected to put up the main green screen light.

For your viewing pleasure, here are some photo's from the shoot as well as a few of the green screen. "Thomas Jefferson"

In other news, our mic mount for our camera arrived (it came in a Singapore tea box), and we are awaiting a new camera battery and mic cord. All this is for a sailing event that we are planning to film in about a week or so. The entire filming should last about 7 or so days, so we will definitely have our hands full.

Keep checking back for more updates.
