First shoot of the summer!
Posted by Marshall Brekka on June 30, 2007 10:47 PM

So last thursday was our first shoot of the summer, and hopefully many more spectacular ones will follow. I have to say that this sketch really was the first one that we have ever made a real set for. I mean, sure, before we have put up some tables and cloths and stuff, but those don't even compare. This time, we actually made it look GOOD. We even made old paper, jeez. The day after, we filmed a few other things with the set before we struck it. We then set up our green screen to film another sketch, but had to postpone that. We were too wiped out to film anything else, Due to the fact that it took us around three times as long as we expected to put up the main green screen light.

For your viewing pleasure, here are some photo's from the shoot as well as a few of the green screen. "Thomas Jefferson"

In other news, our mic mount for our camera arrived (it came in a Singapore tea box), and we are awaiting a new camera battery and mic cord. All this is for a sailing event that we are planning to film in about a week or so. The entire filming should last about 7 or so days, so we will definitely have our hands full.

Keep checking back for more updates.

Sketchy?

Today is an exciting day at Infallibull. We bought a mic mount for a camera yesterday, and it shipped this morning. Why is this exciting, wouldn't it be more exciting once it actually arrives? Well, yes. But see, we were not even sure it would ship. We bought this mic mount from a guy in Singapore, who I found on a forum (sketchy yet?). We were going to buy it from him through ebay, but he didn't have the buy it now feature (he explained he didn't have enough credit to do that), and the bid lasted for 5 days. So we bypassed ebay and just sent him the money through paypal. I really didn't ever expect to hear from him again, or ever see our package. Five hours later, i get an email from him, telling me he had sent it off! Even cooler, he sent me a picture of the package and a tracking number.

In other news, we will be filming one of our ad ideas for the Heinz Ketchup Competition as well as the first few episodes for a summer project this week. Keep checking back for more updates
