Give Thanks
Posted by Conner Quinto on November 24, 2005 12:29 AM

Well everybody, Thanksgiving is upon us, and it is that time of year where families come together and give thanks to all those good things left in our world. Today also happens to be Infallibull member Marshall Brekka's Birthday, and we wish him well. We truely should be happy for what we have, don't be jealous, don't be selfish, and don't try and stabb anyone, because you might end up stabbing yourself, happy thanksgiving everyone, happy birthday Marshall, if anyone wants a good laugh, watch the Macy's Day Parade!

Even We Can't Use It
Posted by Marshall Brekka on November 23, 2005 12:30 AM

I have some exciting news from Infallibull's editing rooms. We have acquired one of the most advanced compositing editing systems on the planet! It is so powerfully that it was even used to make the Lord of the Rings! With this new software, we could mass digitally create a an angry mob of people running through the streets of Emporia looking to ruin its corn crop! Well, maybe we will find something a bit more useful for it, but we still think its awesome that we have it. Unfortunately, we really have no idea how to use it, we got to the point of being able to import some video, and add some effects, which got us to no real end product. As for learning how to use it, that might take a while, seeing that we have all taken a vow never to read the manuals. Maybe in a few months we will finally have that dream shot of the crowd ruining nice fields of corn, but until then I will just have to live with clicking random buttons and hoping my computer doesn't freeze.

New York Premier Pt. 2
Posted by Barak Wouk on November 15, 2005 12:32 AM

The premier went great. There were around 70 people in the audience, and each one of them was laughing throughout the film. All you Santa Cruzians don't you fear... for the local premier is coming near. The exact date, which is not yet set. Should be decided within a weeks rent.

New York Premier Pt. 1

Hey this is Barak Reporting from New York. Today I positioned our poster in the most prominent spot in the theatre. I also printed 200 flyer's and they where going out like hot cakes! Either people where getting interested in the film, or perhaps there wasn't enough toilet paper in the restrooms. We will never know. Plus I saw 6 films, most of them good, one of them horrid, and one was the best film that I have seen all year. More in depth report on that tomorrow, as there may be more news about it...And remember the film is premiering tomorrow, so if you are reading this in NYC by all means come and see the movie, your life depends on it... your death depends on it...
That is all

Pre New York Festival Pt. 2
Posted by Conner Quinto on November 12, 2005 12:31 AM

As you probably know, (and if you dont...) team member Barak Wouk is in New York right now attending the festival. As I type he is probably watching a movie, which us here at Infallibull are excited about becasue it marks the presence of other teen filmmakers at the festival. Barak didn't have time to post any news in the past day so just an update; the film will be playing tomorrow, Barak was skilled enough to get us a spot for our poster in the lobby, so everyone can see it. I don't think I should mention how horrific certain other films at the festival appeared to be, so I won't, until maybe after the festival just incase anyone related to the festival is looking at our page right now, and reading what I'm writing, which means I should just stop

Hey this is Barak reporting from New York City. That's right New York! The festival has finally arrived. Tonight was opening night, where film makers had a chance to present their films and meet other filmmakers. I met many interesting filmmakers, including another teen group that made a movie titled "Wake-up Call". Remember Death is Funny is going to premier Sunday. Make sure to check in tomorrow for the latest batch of festival updates.

A Piñata Full of Bees
Posted by Conner Quinto on November 5, 2005 12:40 AM

A piñata full of bees was discovered early this morning in a closet in the tri-centenial nighborhood area today. Deputies say it looks to be the work of an individual working alone; the motive proved unclear. "That piñata was put there for a reason, by an individual who obviously has a very sick mind." Said Clarence Goodly, chief of police. It is unclear how long the piñata was present at the location before being discovered and is also unclear as to what species of bees the piñata contains. Sources speculated Killer Bees were the subject but authorities say africanized bees are just as likley. Crews are now scanning the entire south side for other traces of these piñatas, more to come...
